Think of a duck Getting wet in a pond Then stepping out of the water And shaking herself dry in seconds; She moves on.
Think about Paul on the island of Malta Gathering sticks for the fire After surviving a wreck at sea Only to find a serpent fastened on his hand… Then shaking it into the fire; He moves on.
Think about Jesus on the cross In excruciating pain, deep agony and sore distress Not answering the mockers, the haters, the ;crucifiers'… But ‘Father into thy hands I commend my spirit’ Breathes his last
Wakes up after three days in the grave And moves on…
This peace That onlookers cannot understand Is not the absence of a storm But the presence of God.
