As Jesus hung pitiably on the cross on that memorable Friday, he was taunted by onlookers with a piercing challenge: “If you are indeed the son of God and the king of the Jews (like you claim), save yourself!…
A deeper walk with God and a call to higher service will most likely bring you here – where you will be able to do very little to help yourself out of a dilemma simply because it is the Father’s will for you to ‘go through’.
The situation mocks: ‘If you are really a child of God…..’
But just keep serving, Keep believing, Keep trusting, Keep waiting, Keep praying.
Don’t get frantic trying to prove you are a man of God and that you have the power to move mountains… You will only be walking by sight and antagonizing the master-plan. You have nothing more to prove – Let your God take the glory.
Having done all to stand (having fulfilled your part), Keep standing. You will live again.
